This Side of the Clouds, That Side of the Clouds (From Earth)

I usually just paint the sky. This piece was a challenge for me to depict the universe.
Beyond the clouds lies the vastness of the universe. I wanted to express the sky, the clouds, and the universe as a single entity, and that’s how this piece came to be.
The boundary between the sky and the universe is represented by the clouds.
By depicting the clouds, I wanted to convey—as the title suggests—that both sides of the clouds, or the sky—beyond and within—are one and the same. Isn’t that true of the society in which we live as well?
