I combined the Asian wolf with “Lupinus,” the Latin word for “wolf.” This entire series is themed around the beautiful pairing of animals and plants. I sought to capture the wolf’s dignified demeanor. I painted each individual strand of fur with a fine brush, and the colors of the plants are rendered to highlight the beautiful hues found in nature. I hope you’ll take a close look to appreciate the fine details.
