"Creating a One-of-a-Kind Piece with Just One Marker" Inspired by a design I found at a thrift store, I began creating my own designs while searching for my own artistic direction—and that’s how the world of 【ventangle】 was born. Guided by the philosophy of “one permanent marker, one shot, no do-overs,” I hand-draw each piece individually, making every item truly one-of-a-kind and uniquely yours. I discovered tangle-style designs during a period when I had voluntarily suspended external work due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Although I had no background in art school, that day marked the beginning of my journey as a designer. My concept is not to create designs for display, but rather designs that are firmly rooted in everyday life. Therefore, everything around me becomes a canvas, and I apply my designs to a variety of items, such as clothing and accessories. My motto is to create works that people can actually touch and appreciate. While “flowers” form the basis of my designs, I also flexibly incorporate traditional Japanese motifs into my work. I strive every day to deliver a one-of-a-kind design to each owner.
